I am a big Calvin and Hobbes fan and have been collecting Bill Waterson’s works ever since I read the first C&H comic strip. So when I chanced upon the above ad, I couldn’t resist clicking on it and pre-ordering a copy. I believe the offer has now expired and the pre-ordered copies will be shipped in October. I can’t wait to get my hands on this C&H collectible. I might have to sell off my existing individual copies (three) so let me know if you are interested.

Minal, 94 odd bucks but I guess for the collectible value and having all CnH books in one set, it is worth it.

it is a bit overpriced even for the “collector’s bit”- over the years, i have bought pretty much my entire collection for about 50$ or so (no second hand stuff, but lots of bargain hunting!)
while it says that it will have every cartoon ever published … i wonder if it will have the additional commentary that some of watterson’s books have - such as ‘the tenth anniversary edition’ or ‘the calvin and hobbes sunday pages 1985-1995′ which contains all of watterson’s original sketches.
i just bought 5 last weekend, just for 24$ - authoritative C&H, its a magical world, tenth anniversary, the days are just packed, and the essential C&H … they do make excellent gifts!
but ofcourse nothing like having a nice hard bound ‘collector’s edition’
