Wintery Spring

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed or email alerts. Thanks for visiting!

I have been under the weather for the past week going through my ‘annual bout’ of cold and flu. To make matters worse, the rest of the continental U.S. also has been experiencing the vagaries of weather this weekend. It is April and it is snowing in places as close as Dallas. While we were out driving today, we saw little bits of ice bits disguised as rain pelting down. This is as weird as weather gets these days. But then we shouldn’t be surprised in an age of climate change. With the ’shelter’ of El Nino gone this year, weather forecasters are expecting a turbulent hurricane season this year with at least 17 or more named storms (we’ll have Alpha, Beta, Gamma, etc. after that).

Well, all I can say right now is stay safe and warm. And be thankful that you aren’t a polar bear swimming desperately to find a stable ice shelf.
